Enhancements questions
What is dermaplaning and is it safe?
Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation technique using a sterile surgical blade to gently remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz (vellus hair) from your face. It is completely safe when performed by trained professionals, results in smoother skin, better product absorption, and a flawless makeup application. The hair does not grow back thicker or darker.
Will I experience redness or peeling after a facial?
Mild redness immediately after a facial is normal and typically subsides within a few hours. Treatments like chemical peels or microneedling may cause peeling or flaking for 3-7 days. We provide detailed aftercare instructions and recommend scheduling treatments when you can allow for any necessary downtime.
Can I wear makeup after my facial?
We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup after most facials to allow your skin to breathe and absorb the benefits of treatment. For chemical peels or more intensive treatments, avoid makeup for 48-72 hours. When you do apply makeup, use clean brushes and mineral-based products.
